I'd have to say my muse is my family, and my kids in particular. They have taught me over the years that timeless emotive imagery is not getting the perfect photo but it's the moments in between moments that carry the most feeling. I love the thought of capturing nostalgic memories as feelings of our childhoods mixed into theirs and what I'd love for you to experience in your session is a relaxed, fun vibe with naturally unfolding moments to archive the most memorable authentic photographs.
I've always been in love with light and shadows, the way it changes our perspective in an image and gives a more emotive feeling.
Keeping it real and what drives me is not having many childhood photographs in my possession, for my mother was unfortunately diagnosed with early-onset dementia many years ago and with her memory loss also went many photographs. I cherish the very few photos I have with her before she became unwell and I encourage all mums (& dads) to get in the photo, don't stand behind the camera, be with them, beside them, hold them, love them and show them you don't care for the imperfections, and that you love being within that frame of a photograph beside them, and your children and their children will cherish those precious memories for many years to come.
With my many years of experience not only as a photographer but a mother, wife, daughter and sister I take all of this with me when I turn up to photograph you and your family. Your story is unique and I want you to see the beauty within all of the chaos. My mission is for you to be able to relive these beautiful memories over and over again and knowing that these photographs are not just still memories but also have the ability a give a nostalgic feeling within an image.

A super easy online ordering system is setup to order your fine art prints via your gallery (at an additional cost), delivered straight to your door.

You'll receive your online gallery, a selection of colour and BW imagery, which you'll need to download within four weeks (please backup your images for future-proofing) & before your gallery is removed.

You have your session with me either at home or on location. My aim is for a low-stress and enjoyable session, sipping on coffee or your choice of beverage, listening to music like on those slow Sundays, bare feet and relaxed feels! After your session is complete your images will follow within 2-4wks depending on my current workload.

We can lock in your location and chat about wardrobe (I'm more than happy to help, if you'd like guidance) plus we can also throw around some ideas about things that you might like to capture within your session, which are unique to you and your family's story... such as what your typical Saturday might look like?

Once you've reached out we can lock in a date for your preferred session or sessions with a 50% deposit and confirmation of your session date (the remaining amount is due before your session).

First things first - as you may have discovered I'm not your traditional family photographer and also not the cheapest you'll find. I'm forever growing as an artist and put my whole heart and soul into what I love to do. It's an investment and one that comes with many years of experience working with babies, children and, of course families to create meaningful imagery. It’s about capturing the ones you adore and the ones that adore you the most! It’s unposed, raw, relaxed but still creative storytelling. It’s untold moments you know won’t last forever so documenting them only feels right...
It’s all about creating memories as a family, from making pancakes or baking together, playing with toys or going on that family walk around the block, taking a bath or shower with mum or dad, breastfeeding (maybe holding that cold cup of coffee!), counting tiny fingers or tiny toes, maybe it’s story time, jumping on the bed, backyard games, gardening, searching for worms, picking daisies, picnics, jumping on the tramp or running through the sprinklers… it's about the mess, the tears and all the inbetween.
There are so many little things to capture in your everyday life that you might not think about capturing and it’s the perfect way to tell a story of your days so you can remember them like they were yesterday but for a lifetime.

Make it an occasion, grab dinner before, during or after, bring a towel (just incase) slip off your shoes and feel the sand between your feet. A low stress + relaxed session watching the sunset, I'll guide you and also stand to give you space to create beautiful timeless memories + imagery perfect for a coffee table book or a few framed portraits. I like to keep this session super relaxed but still playful, with loads of cuddles, a few deep belly laughs, holding their little hands, maybe even some fun at the end running through the water.
